For the first-ever launch of the Martell Single Cru collection, a collection of the finest single cru cognacs crafted by Martell’s cellar master Christophe Valtaud, the brand created a suite of photographic and digital assets crafted with the same precision and attention to detail as the cognac itself. In a first for the brand, each of the six cognacs in the collection was crafted exclusively with eaux de vie from a single terroir, signifying a landmark moment in the 309‑year history of Martell.
Working closely on set in Paris with the photo team and culinary director, we shot the three hero photo assets used across all campaign collateral. Additionally, in a months-long collaboration with Cowboys agency, we created a catalogue of digital images for use across social and travel retail marketing specific to each cru, highlighting the unique tasting notes and nuance of each individual terroir.
